Tips for YOU!

I hope these few tips would help you guys and most importantly prevent crime! So, the following tips are prevention measures to protect your vehicles and property:
1.Lock your vehicle whenever it is left unattended;
2.Remove cashcards and other valuables before leaving your vehicle;
3.Install an alarm system in your vehicle;
4.If you see any suspicious characters loitering around, do take note of their
appearance, clothing, height, age or any other distinctive physical features and
contact the Police for assistance;
5. Last but not least, Call the Police immediately if you are a victim as valuable evidence may be
left behind for Police to apprehend the culprit(s).

These are tips for theft in houses..
Some of the common tricks used by pickpocket are:
• Pickpockets target at people in crowds who carry cash in public especially those who have made a display of their money;
• Pickpockets deliberately bump or jostle into an unsuspecting person in a crowd;
• They create a commotion in public to distract everybody's attention while picking on pockets; and
• They look out for ladies with dangling handbags especially handbags carried with clasps facing away from the body.
. You can prevent yourselves from being a victim of pickpocket by adopting the following crime prevention measures to safeguard your property:
• Do not display excess cash in the public as this might draw unnecessary attention;
• Never leave your handbag in a shopping basket or trolley;
• Sling your handbag in front of you and to ensure that it us properly fastened or zipped at all time;
• Keep your wallet in your front pockets;
• Never leave your handbag unattended in the public places such as hawker centre; and
• Do not be distracted by strangers creating a commotion or accidentally spilling something onto you.
